Munich is poised to host five days of competition as the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup resumes tomorrow.
Over 750 athletes are expected to compete at the event, with a total of 80 National Olympic Committees set to be represented at the rifle and pistol contests.
Action will begin with the men’s and women’s 10 metre air rifle events tomorrow at the Olympic Shooting Range in Hochbrück.
The venue was home to Olympic shooting events at Munich 1972 Olympic Games.
Men’s 50m pistol action will take place on Saturday (May 20), with the event swiftly followed by the women’s 25m competition.
Male shooters will contest the 50m rifle prone and 25m rapid fire pistol competitions on Sunday (May 21).
Women’s 50m rifle three positions action will take place on May 22, with the men’s 10m air pistol held later in the day.

The event is the fourth ISSF World Cup of the season, which got underway in New Dehli back in February.
Acapulco in Mexico and Larnaca in Cyprus held the second and third events of the World Cup season respectively.
The series will conclude in Azerbaijan next month, with Gabala hosting competition from June 6 to 14.,
